Quebec Online Unclaimed Money Website Difficult To Find

Revenue Quebec Holds Nearly a Third of $1 Billion Dollars In Online Database.

Quebecers can search online for unclaimed money held in their name by the province but the web address is long and may be hard to find. Provincial law requires private businesses to turn over money to Revenue Quebec if owners can’t be found after a three year search period. The province then holds all amounts less than $500 for 10 years before sending it to the province’s Generations Fund. Owners of amounts over $500 may take longer to claim their money.
