Lost South Carolina Utility Co-Op Refunds Not In State Database

South Carolina Electric And Telephone Cooperative Members And Former Members

Since 2011 South Carolina law no longer requires utility cooperatives to report to the state capital credits owed to members and former members of the cooperatives. Instead, the law requires cooperatives to each maintain an online, searchable website listing names of owners of unclaimed capital credits along with instructions on how to claim the missing money.

For a list of these searchable websites go here: Unclaimed SC Utility Capital Credits

To search for older unclaimed utility credits and other SC unclaimed property go here: South Carolina Treasury Office
